About us…

Drawing upon her background growing up both in the USA and in Europe, Countess Corinne Tatiana von Nordmann seamlessly blends together the old and the new to create a welcoming home for both the potential buyer as well as the homeowner. She likes to say that her heart is American and her soul is European. Corinne was born into a very creative, aristocratic family with a fascinating history dating back to the 1300′s in Europe. In the past 100 years, her relatives have all been on the cutting edge of medical research and practice while still being very active in the arts. Corinne’s passion for the arts started as soon as she could hold a crayon and she was accepted to Hunter College for their arts program at only 4 years old, though she decided to attend the Preparatory Division of the Manhattan School of Music instead when she was 5 years old. By the time she was just 7 years old, Corinne was already winning the top prizes in international piano competitions and composing her first pieces. As an award-winning composer of major works for orchestra, piano and voice, Corinne always drew great inspiration from the visual arts and the color schemes that lead the mystical Russian composer Alexander Scriabin to assign specific colors to all of the musical notes.
While performing all over Europe and the USA after graduating with honors in 1993 from The Juilliard School in both piano and composition besides studying theater and literature at Columbia University, Corinne was often asked to restyle the homes of her friends after they saw how she lived. After spending most of the past decade traveling non-stop and redesigning the furnished apartments she often found herself in for months at a time while she was working as a producer and composer on her film and theater projects between LA, NY and Europe, Corinne decided to make Manhattan her home again in 2008. A discerning art collector, Corinne continues to play an active role in the arts as a Board Member of The Metropolitan Opera, a member of the YCC Acquisitions Committee at the Guggenheim Museum, a Young Fellow of the Frick Museum as well as an Apollo Circle member over at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and as a member of ASCAP.
Combining both her various creative talents and keen business acumen from her years of experience as a concert pianist, composer and film producer as well as a mediator, project manager and controller for various international companies, Corinne brings with her a great passion and understanding of home staging and redesigning interiors as well as the utmost in discipline and interpersonal skills along with the ability to meet any deadline and solve problems on the spot. Corinne is an HSR Certified Professional Home Stager and Redesigner and has completed the most comprehensive home staging and redesign certification course in the country provided by the Home Staging Resource. The Home Staging Resource is the first and only truly accredited staging training courses having undergone an extensive quality control and accreditation process by the Real Estate Staging Association (RESA), which is the only third-party, governing association for the home staging industry. She is also an accredited member of IFDA, ASHSR and RESA. Corinne continues to take specialized interior design seminars at NYU with the leading designers in the country in order to stay on top of all the newest techniques and trends in the field.
